Human Trafficking Education Day is March 21

Human Trafficking through the Eyes of Adolescents: The Intersection of Human Trafficking, Abuse, and the Foster Care System will be the subject on Human Trafficking Education Day at Victory Noll Center. This education opportunity will be held Friday, March 21 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The day will provide community members, activists and religious and secular human service providers the ability to deepen and broaden their understanding of the complex problem of how adolescents are drawn into human trafficking rings of sexual exploitation. Youth ministers, educators, law enforcement, social service, medical, mental health, child and foster care providers will benefit from the information. Risk factors of how child neglect and abuse, grooming and sexual victimization and how they contribute to the social phenomena of adolescent runaway behavior and foster care placement will be highlighted.
