HU Foundation to hear state of county and city

The April Huntington University Foundation Breakfast will explore the current state of the economy for both Huntington County and the City of Huntington. On Wednesday, April 9, Mark Wickersham, executive director of Huntington County Economic Development, along with Mayor Brooks Fetters and County Commissioners president Larry Buzzard will give a progress report on the state of the county and city along with updates on local businesses.

The mission of the Huntington County Economic Development Corporation is to maintain a unified economic development effort to promote opportunities for job retention, expansion and to attract new businesses.

The Foundation Breakfast is open to the public. It will begin at 7:45 a.m. in the Habecker Dining Commons and conclude by 9 a.m. The cost of the breakfast is $7. First-time attendees eat free courtesy of Bailey-Love Mortuary. Reservations are appreciated.
