Posted: Thursday, March 8, 2018

The Huntington University Foundation will host its monthly breakfast on Wednesday, March 14, focusing on local economic development. The breakfast begins at 7:45 a.m. in the Habecker Dining Commons and concludes by 9 a.m.

Steve Kimmel, executive director of the Huntington County Chamber of Commerce, will examine how the Chamber of Commerce is involved in this process, and Chris Storie, Novae Corporation, and Andrew Drummond, Class of 2010, Huntington Sheet Metal, will discuss the effects of their respective businesses on the local economy.

The Foundation Breakfast Series is held on the second Wednesday of each month, October through May, excluding December and is open to the public. A portion of the breakfast cost will help support local area students attending HU through the Huntington County Grant.

First-time attendees enjoy a complimentary breakfast courtesy of Bailey-Love Mortuary.
