HomeCraft, opens tomorrow with ribbon cutting

HomeCraft – The Art of Home will officially open tomorrow, Saturday, August 22 for business. A ribbon cutting will be held at the store at 9:30 a.m. with the retail store opening to the public at 10 a.m. The store is located at 400 N. Jefferson Street, downtown Huntington.

Sara Wilcox and Ronda Smelser, co-owners of HomeCraft, said the store features quality home goods and gifts that are beautiful, functional and responsible. They offer a large variety of products with an emphasis on goods made in the USA, Fair Trade items and items produced regionally. Gifts for all occasions and tastes may be found in this beautiful, newly renovated storefront.

Numerous items spotlight ethically sourced materials and also available are sustainable alternatives to disposable home products. Barware, bakeware, cookware, fine table linens, hand-thrown pottery, serveware, luxury bed and bath linens and home décor are just a few of the offerings at HomeCraft. Cards and signature gift wrapping are available.

The new establishment is located in the historic Moore-Corlew building, formerly the home of Harman Optometry. HomeCraft will be open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays are by appointment only, and reserved for those who are immune compromised or not comfortable shopping in a group.
