Posted: Wednesday, October 6, 2010

The Huntington County Community Foundation Inc. is accepting applications for its 2010 Cycle II unrestricted fund “Make a Difference” grants. The grants are awarded to not-for-profit charitable purposes that improve the quality of life in Huntington County.  The grants are available to charitable 501c(3) organizations based in Huntington County.  Applications must be received at the Community Foundation office by October 29, 2010.

Funding for semi-annual “Make a Difference” grants comes from income generated by the Community Grants Unrestricted Fund of Huntington County Community Foundation.  Community grants have been awarded twice a year beginning in 1997, with grants totaling more than $850,000. Applications may be obtained at the Community Foundation office, 356 W. Park Drive, or by visiting the foundation website at www.hccfoundation.com.
