HARTA planning “Uncorked” event for July 13

Huntington Area Recreational Trails Association (HARTA) and the Historic Forks of the Wabash invite you to participate in the 3rd annual Forks of the Wabash Uncorked Wine and Beer Tasting Event. The event will be held July 13, 2018, from 5:30 to 9 p.m., rain or shine, at the Historic Forks of the Wabash Park, 3011 W. Park Drive.

The goals for the 3rd annual Forks of the Wabash Uncorked event are to sell at least 400 tickets and raise $20,000, with all the proceeds and contributions from the event to go towards supporting the development and maintenance of trails in Huntington along with helping to preserve and protect the Forks of the Wabash. Tickets for the event will be $35 at the gate, $30 in advance and $10 for a designated driver. Plans are well under way and HARTA was very pleased with the attendance of over 425 guests in 2017, and looks forward to growing the event in 2018. Tickets go on sale May 19.

This event would not be possible without the generous donations from community sponsors. Together HARTA’s goal can become a reality, and provide needed monies to support the continued development and enhancement of trails and history, making the community an even better place to raise a family.

Sponsors will benefit by being recognized in a variety of ways. Organizations will receive recognition as outlined in the sponsorship program. HARTA anticipates an organization’s exposure will be seen by hundreds of attendees and thousands that will see the event advertised. There are several levels of sponsorship an organization can consider: Estate, $2,000 Vineyard, $1,000; Barrel, $750; Keg, $500 and Bottle, $250. The HARTA group has scheduled their annual dinner for Thursday, April 19. Doors open at 6 p.m. with dinner served at 6:30 p.m. Registration deadline is Friday, April 6. Dress is casual. If interested, please click here to download your registration form.
