Posted: Friday, May 1, 2015

Kasey Kohlmorgen has been named as the new executive director for Huntington County Habitat for Humanity. She has devoted her professional life to fundraising for nonprofit organizations and is excited to serve an organization that does so much good work in the greater Huntington community.

Kohlmorgen previously served as Joe’s Kids director of community relations. It is a pediatric rehabilitation clinic in Warsaw. She has also raised funds for the Ronald McDonald House in Indianapolis and for her alma mater, Anderson University.

She moved to Huntington last year and has grown to love this area. Kohlmorgen said she is happy to serve the community in a position that makes a big impact. She wants to do all she can to make Huntington a stronger, more vibrant community.

Habitat for Humanity and the ReStore relocated to a new facility in November 2014.  The administrative offices are also a part of the facility located at 250 Commerce Drive off of Commercial Road.

The ReStore is open Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Wednesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Donations to the ReStore are welcome, and pickup is free by calling (260) 356-7425.
