Giggabuggy opens, holds ribbon cutting

The Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Giggabuggy on Wednesday, October 23. Giggabuggy is located in downtown Huntington and is a fun studio that offers painting classes for anyone and everyone in a friendly party environment.

Mike and Ann Richard will hold a grand opening for their new business at 422 N. Jefferson Street on Saturday, November 2 from 1 to 7 p.m. The business will be open each week on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 6 to 9 p.m. for adults. All ages are welcome on Saturdays from 1 to 4 p.m.

Giggabuggy offers scheduled classes that last two to three hours. Each class features a different masterpiece which can be viewed from the online calendar. Those wanting to participate can stop by the business for a schedule or check the calendar online at Spots in a class can be reserved by sending an email to Participants are welcome to bring wine (or milk for the Kids Club classes) and snacks to enjoy, while an instructor teaches the group, step by step, how to create their masterpiece.

A private party room is also available at Giggabuggy and a personal art instructor will guide the group in recreating a painting of their choice. Friendship Circles meet at Giggabuggy spending time scrapbooking, knitting, bead-making and more. Giggabuggy offers tea parties for little girls. In the tea parlor, girls are pampered and served refreshments. Kid-friendly make-up, nail polish and costumes are supplied as part of the party.
