Free family day camp to help grieving

Camp Hope is a free community service provided by Family LifeCare. This year’s camp will be held Saturday, October 8 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Ouabache State Park Lodge, 4949 E. State Road 201, in Bluffton.
Camp Hope is open to children of all ages and/or families who have experienced any type of loss due to the death of a loved one; loss of a pet; divorce or separation from parents; serious illness/injury; or, a move away from family, home or school. Loss is a universal life experience and our goal is to assist you and your family with this process, to promote healing, and to learn healthy coping strategies while honoring the memories of your loved ones. Camp Hope activities include a mini petting zoo, games, crafts, lunch, campfire, an adult education session, and a Flower and Bubble Remembrance.” Please bring photos or items about your loved ones to share.
Family LifeCare serves the following Indiana counties: Adams, Allen, Blackford, Grant, Huntington, Jay, Randolph, Wabash, Wells and Whitley. Camp Hope is made possible through generous donations from families and individuals. Anyone wishing to donate to Camp Hope may send a tax-deductible contribution to Family LifeCare, 108 S.
