The Huntington County Community Foundation universal scholarship application can be found at In 2017, roughly three out of every four applicants received an average of $1,461 in financial aid. In a record year, 80 local students were awarded a total of $116,850 in scholarships.

HCCF scholarships are funds established at the Huntington County Community Foundation by the generosity and forethought of Huntington County citizens just like you. Each named scholarship fulfills a distinct purpose set out by the priorities and motivations of the original donor. Due to the unique nature of our donors, eligibility requirements and monetary amounts vary across all scholarships. Awarded annually, each scholarship represents an enduring legacy to advance the quality of life in our community through higher education.

Applications must be submitted online by Monday, March 26 before midnight. Applicants will be evaluated on the following criteria: (1) Demonstration of academic ability to successfully complete his/her chosen degree program (2) Display of achievements in academics, extra-curricular activities, community service and/or work (3) Exhibition of good character, maturity and leadership abilities.
