Forks of the Wabash Uncorked is July 12

The Huntington Area Recreational Trails Association and Historic Forks of the Wabash are teaming up to present the fourth annual Forks of the Wabash Uncorked fundraiser on Friday, July 12, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. The event will feature libations from six wineries, two cider companies and six breweries.

Guests will have the opportunity to sample from each of the various vendors, and then purchase wines and beers featured during the evening. There will be several area food trucks on hand to purchase from including Alto Grado Pizza, Fork & Fiddle, Sol Kitchen and Whip & Chill.

A silent auction will also be held during the evening. Items up for bid can be viewed on the Forks of the Wabash Uncorked Facebook event page along with a 50/50 money raffle. The groups are also seeking items to be donated to the silent auction. Guests at the event will be entertained by live music from the Farmland Jazz Band.

Attendance is limited to those 21 years and older. Proceeds from the Uncorked event will be shared between HARTA and the Historic Forks organizations to benefit their programs. Tickets are available for purchase in advance at any Huntington First Federal Savings Bank, Belmont Beverages (Roanoke, Illinois Road and Time Corners) or online at There is also a reduced-price designated driver ticket.

The Forks of the Wabash Historic Park is located at 3011 W. Park Drive. Limited parking will be available at the park and shuttle service will be available from off-site parking at the Awakening Church, Sheets Wildlife Museum, DaVita Dialysis, Healthier Pet, Huntington License Branch and the Forks Trailhead.
