First Federal to open new branch

First Federal Savings Bank will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2012 and is scheduled to open a second full-service facility in Fort Wayne in the first half of the year. The new bank branch will be located at 10316 Maysville Road in northeast Fort Wayne.

First Federal has five additional facilities including three in Huntington, one in Warsaw and Fort Wayne with its parent company, Northeast Indiana Bancorp Inc. Innovative Financial Services is the investment division of First Federal Savings Bank.

Additionally, Northeast Indiana Bancorp has announced that the corporation has increased the cash dividend paid to shareholders for the 17th year in a row. The cash dividend of 18 cents per common share that will be paid to shareholders represents a 2.9 percent increase over the company’s previous quarterly dividend. The dividend will be payable on November 22 to shareholders of record on November 8, 2011.
