First Federal is pleased to announce promotions

First Federal Savings Bank is pleased to announce the promotions of four employees.

Ian Hope, left, has recently been promoted to vice president, commercial portfolio/SBA manager. Hope joined the First Federal staff in 2004 and has a degree in accounting from the IU Kelley School of Business and has over 25 years of banking/finance experience. Hope is an avid cyclist, board member of the Noontime Kiwanis in Huntington and his neighborhood homeowner’s association. He also volunteers with the middle school and high school groups at The Chapel, where he and his family attend church. Hope resides in Fort Wayne with his wife, Jennifer, and their two children.

Donnie Haire, second from left, has recently been promoted to assistant vice president, retail/mortgage lending at the downtown location on N. Jefferson Street. Haire has been with First Federal since August of 2012 and has 20 years banking experience. Haire has a bachelor’s degree from Indiana State University. He also serves on the Whitley County 4-H board and is a Den Leader for Cub Scouts Pack 3082. Haire currently resides in Columbia City with his wife, Julie, and their two sons.  They are members of St. Paul of the Cross Parrish where Donnie serves as Financial Secretary for the Knights of Columbus Council 7235.

Amanda Stroup, second from right, has recently been promoted to assistant vice president, marketing director/mortgage lending at the north location on Frontage Road. Stroup joined the staff in 2013 and has a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University. She is currently the treasurer for the Huntington County Leadership Board and has volunteered for Junior Achievement and the United Way. Stroup and her husband, Adam, reside in Huntington with their two sons and attend Mt. Etna United Methodist Church.

Joe Cassidy, right, was promoted to assistant vice president, wealth advisor for their First Federal Wealth Management Division at the north office location on Frontage Road. Cassidy joined First Federal Savings Bank in May 2017 and has a degree in business administration from Indiana University. He serves on the board for Giving Teens Grace. Cassidy resides in Roanoke with his wife, Jami, and their two children. He attends Emmanuel Community Church.
