First Federal donates to Huntington Catholic

Posted: Wednesday, December 23, 2020

First Federal Savings Bank has partnered with the Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO) of Northeast Indiana to provide grants to children within the private education system in Huntington. Their $10,000 gift, with others, will return over one million dollars in state vouchers to families in the state each year from first grade through twelfth grade.

Derek Boone, principal of Huntington Catholic School, states, “Huntington Catholic is truly grateful for the generous support of First Federal Saving Bank. The SGO donations we have received from First Federal have allowed 15 students to receive scholarships the past two school years, making a Catholic education affordable for many families. The impact of these donations will be felt for many years to come!”
