First Federal announces promotion and additions

First Federal Savings Bank welcomes Philip R. Bundy and Emily Doss, and congratulates Amy Avila on her promotion.

Bundy, at left, has been assigned as vice president of commercial lending and business development and will be working at the Maysville office in Fort Wayne. He has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Indiana University, Fort Wayne and has over twenty-seven years of experience in the banking industry. A native to Fort Wayne, Bundy has been involved with various boards of numerous community organizations, such as Easter Seals ARC of Northeast Indiana, president of Our Lady School, and president of the Father Solanus Casey Vocation Society. He has been married to his wife, Elaine, for twenty-seven years. They have six children and are long-term parishioners of Our Lady of Good Hope parish.

Doss, center, joins First Federal Savings Bank as the branch manager for the South Bend Drive location in Fort Wayne. Doss has over 16 years of banking experience, where she has worked as consumer lender and branch manager for different institutions. Doss graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Huntington University. She resides in Markle, with her husband Matthew, and they have one daughter, Ciara, who is a senior at IU Bloomington. Doss has been involved in several non-for profit organizations such as the Rotary Club of Huntington, Altrusa Club of Huntington and the Relay for Life of Huntington County. She and her husband are big fans of IU basketball and rugby.

Avila, right, has been assigned to the operations analyst position. She has been with First Federal since October of 2017. Avila has a Bachelor of Science from Indiana State University and extensive customer service and cash handling experience. She resides in Huntington with her husband, Alejandro, and they are expecting their first child in a couple of weeks.
