First Federal announces additions, promotion

First Federal Savings Bank has announced additions and a promotion to its staff. Heather Korporal has been hired as a full time teller at the downtown branch of First Federal, 648 N. Jefferson Street. Heather has a degree in accounting from National College in Fort Wayne and lives in Huntington with husband Tim and their two sons.

Jean Schinnerer was hired as the branch manager of the Maysville office in Fort Wayne. Schinnerer received her degree from Purdue University and has over 32 years of banking experience. She is a past member of the Fort Wayne Women’s Bureau, Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce committees and a board member for the St. Anne Home and Retirement Community. Schinnerer lives in Fort Wayne with husband Keith.

Chandelle Snyder was hired as a full time teller at the downtown branch. Snyder returned to Huntington after attending Purdue University and has previous cash handling experience.

Brittney Shoemaker was promoted to operations clerk at the downtown branch. Shoemaker has been with First Federal since 2009, earned an associate’s degree from Indiana Tech and is currently taking classes towards her bachelor’s degree. Shoemaker is a lifelong resident of Huntington where she resides with husband Seth and their son. They attend New Life Fellowship Church where the couple are youth leaders.
