DHRG staff donates to Blessings in a Backpack
Posted: Friday, January 20, 2017
The staff of DeLaney Hartburg Roth & Garrott LLP presents Huntington County Blessings in a Backpack Founder Emily Johnson with a check on Friday, January 13. The staff raised the funds through their weekly “jeans fundraiser.” Each Friday the staff is permitted to wear jeans to work if they contribute to the fundraiser. The funds are then donated to a local charity of the staff’s choosing.
“The staff selected Blessings in a Backpack because of their contribution to youth right here in our community” says staff member Beth Rittenhouse. Established in 2011, Blessings in a Backpack currently provides 350 children with weekly meals and is present in all of the county elementary schools. Online donations can be made to Huntington County’s Blessings in a Backpack at blessingsinabackpack.org. DeLaney Hartburg Roth & Garrott LLP located at 533 Warren Street, provides a variety of legal services and can be reached at (260) 356-4100.
