Damian Mason to speak at Huntington Library

Posted: Friday, July 5, 2019

Local author Damian Mason will speak about his newly published business book, Do Business Better, at the Huntington Library Saturday, July 20 at 2 p.m., followed by a Q&A.

After speaking to companies such as Merck, Land O’Lakes, and Cargill, and 2,000 audiences across the world, Mason, a successful businessman, agriculturalist, podcaster, and writer, wants to help you achieve your entrepreneurial goals and live a better life. While other business books claim to tell you how to reach success, they fall short because they don’t address the fact that success is different for each of us. Do Business Better helps you define success on your terms then will show you how to achieve it.

At age 25, Mason chucked his sales job with a Fortune 500 company to pursue greater compensation and creativity. It worked. Then his business struggled mightily. Mason reinvented himself. After several iterations and multiple setbacks, his business thrived once again.

Mason speaks to corporations, associations, trade groups, and agricultural organizations. He delivers insights, information, and inspiration in an entertaining package.

Mason is a graduate of Purdue University. He also studied comedy writing and improvisation at The Second City, Chicago. Mason is a member of the Screen Actors Guild and the National Speakers Association. When he’s not traveling for work, he can be found on his Indiana farm with his wife, Lori, or escaping from winter at their Arizona residence.
