Culligan under new ownership/management

Posted: Friday, August 26, 2011

The Culligan residential and commercial water conditioning business in Huntington is under new ownership/management. The dealership is now owned by Driessen Water Inc. and is no longer a corporate store.  Driessen Water Inc. is a family owned and operated business.

The owner, Dan Driessen, is a grandson to Emmit J. Culligan, who founded Culligan Water Conditioning back in 1936. The Huntington store is located at 1272 South Jefferson Street next to Domino’s and Subway.  Customer Service Representative Phil Farley serves customers at the store and anticipates their water needs. Phil has worked for Culligan for over a year and has lived in Huntington County since he was four.  He graduated from Huntington North High School in 1977.

“I’ve worked over 21 years in customer service related businesses, starting with Bob’s Finer Foods which, ironically, is right across the street from our current location. As a customer service representative, it’s my job to coordinate service calls, sales calls and take over-the-counter sales of salt, water and filters,” says Farley.

Culligan has trained technicians ready to repair equipment if needed or a Certified Water Specialist, Jason Teter, can be sent to your location to provide recommendations on other units or options for your home.  Just say “Hey Culligan Man!” Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Contact Phil Farley at (260) 356-3824 or at phil.farley@culligan.com or reach our Certified Water Specialist, Jason Teter, at (260) 750-1152 or at jason@culliganftwayne.com
