The LaFontaine Arts Council proudly announces that Eric Clancy Jazz, featuring soloist Shannon Persinger, will be the featured entertainment at JeFFFest. The LAC’s annual summer event will be held on Sunday, June 19 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in downtown Huntington.
The event, co-sponsored by the LAC and Four Corners Custom Framing, is a family-friendly festival featuring fine art, fun food and fab music. Edward Jones financial advisors Scott Atkinson, Jim Ditzler, Chuck Harris, Nicole Johnson, Trent McBride, Jim Scheiber and Jim Warner are underwriting the music for JeFFFest.
Tables and limited chairs will be set up on Jefferson Street to accommodate the crowd, but people are encouraged to bring their own seating to be assured of having a place to sit. The fine art for the event comes from local and area artists who have painted and donated 5x7-inch canvases available for silent auction. Local vendors are providing food for JeFFFest. All proceeds from the event go toward the LAC’s “Arts in Education” programming.
Further information is available from LaFontaine Arts Council executive director Debbie Dyer at (260) 358-0055 or Paula Bittner, owner of the Four Corners Custom Framing, at (260) 355-0650. In addition, both JeFFFest and the LAC have Facebook pages with photos and additional information.
