CravinVapes holds ribbon cutting on February 20

Posted: Friday, February 26, 2016

CravinVapes, 2928 Wal-Mart Drive, held a grand opening celebration on Saturday, February 20. The Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting was held at 1 p.m. with the celebration lasting from 1 to 3 p.m.

The electronic cigarette and e-liquid store, located in the Wal-Mart Forum Shops, hosted Fort Wayne rock and roll radio station 98.9 The Bear as part of the celebration. The store’s owner, Cory Bailey, gave away vaping starter kits to attendees. Food, door prizes, and in-store specials also helped with celebrating the occasion. Military personnel were given 15 percent off purchases with a military ID.

CravinVapes operates 15 locations across Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio. The business’ co-founder, Shawn Anderson, says that expanding to Huntington made a lot of sense. “As we’ve brought our business to the Fort Wayne area, we’ve noticed that the surrounding areas have really had a desire to have our product there,” he says. “So, we’ve started going to those surrounding areas around Fort Wayne as well, too.”

Products at CravinVapes include open-tank vaporizers, refillable atomizers and chargers, among other wares.

“It’s a whole education process,” he states. “We want you to be safe and secure with your new investment into a new smoking alternative.”

CravinVapes’ Huntington location opened in December 2015. The store hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information call the store at (260) 200-2968 or visit their website at
