Comedy-Mystery Dinner at Event Center

Posted: Friday, December 19, 2014

Roanoke’s Cottage Event Center plays host to a hilarious evening of homicidal hijinks with the Dinner Theater production “The Caribbean Caper,” starring Fort Wayne’s Bower-North Productions. The event is a fundraiser for Oak Hill Farm. The dinner will take place on New Year's Eve.

The play features Larry Bower as the bumbling “Defective Detective” John Fieldstone, a sleuth who seemingly does everything wrong right up until the very moment he solves the dastardly crime. Those attending the show will mingle with the characters during cocktails and then enjoy a delicious dinner catered by 1024 Catering. Once dinner is completed the Murderous Mayhem ensues, with an audience member recruited to play a feature role … as the victim. Once John Fieldstone completes his incompetent investigation, each audience member will be asked to fill out a crime report, with one attendee named Detective of the Night!

A cash bar will be available. Tickets are $35 per person, and are available at Good Grains Gluten Free Bakery in Roanoke, or from Oak Hill Farm. Tickets also may be ordered by calling (260) 483-3508. Doors open and dinner is served at 6:30 p.m., with the show starting around 7:30 p.m.

Oak Hill Farm is a PATH International certified and accredited non-profit service organization dedicated to promoting horseback riding for the handicapped.
