City to hold ribbon cutting on Old U.S.-24

The City of Huntington is pleased to announce a ribbon cutting ceremony for the reconditioning of Old U.S.-24 on Tuesday, July 31, beginning at 10 a.m. The ceremony will take place near the Our Sunday Visitor facility on Old U.S.-24. Parking will be available at Our Sunday Visitor.

Representatives from the City of Huntington, E&B Paving, Our Sunday Visitor and area businesses will be in attendance and offering brief comments before the cutting of the ribbon reopening Old U.S.-24. There will also be a memorialization of the upgraded roadway to Archbishop Noll Parkway in honor and recognition of the legacy of economic and spiritual development established by Archbishop John Noll in the Huntington community.

The community is invited to participate and celebrate this beautification improvement to a primary gateway into the City of Huntington.
