The “Lights of the Night” tree lighting ceremony will include glow sticks, caroling and assorted treats and candy canes from Party Shop elves. The Huntington County Children’s Choir will also sing at the ceremony. A parade to the Courthouse will be led by Santa Claus and the firetruck will follow. Children along with their parents can parade to the Courthouse through the downtown area.

Santa will visit with children in the Courthouse Rotunda. While waiting to visit with Santa, children will be provided with candy canes from the Party Shop and Bob Burnsworth at Coldwell Banker and can color, eat cookies and enjoy hot chocolate. Free photos with Santa will be taken by Frederick’s Photography.

The annual event is being coordinated by the Downtown Business Association, the City of Huntington and the Huntington County Chamber of Commerce.
