Christian Laura Story to perform at Honeywell

Posted: Friday, November 10, 2017

Contemporary Christian artist Laura Story will make her debut appearance on the Honeywell Center’s Ford Theater stage on Wednesday, December 13 at 7:30 p.m. Laura Story is a Grammy- and Dove Award-winning singer/songwriter most known for her inspiring songs “Indescribable” and “Blessings.”

Story began her career as a bass player for the Silers Bald band. During that time, the band released four independent albums. In 2002, Story left Silers Bald and began working on her first album, Indescribable, which was released independently that same year. In 2005, Story released her second independent album entitled There Is Nothing. The following year, she signed a record contract with INO Records and two years later released her third album, Great God Who Saves.

Story was nominated for a Dove Award for Female Vocalist of the Year in 2010 at the 41st GMA Dove Awards. She released her fourth album, Blessings, in May 2011. Her single off the album “Blessings” became her first to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Christian Songs chart. The single eventually went on to win the 2012 Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Song. Her fifth studio album, God of Every Story, was released in 2013.

Laura Story’s music and writing show God’s love and grace intersecting with real life, and serve as a reminder that despite questions or circumstances, He is the ultimate author of our story. Tickets are $45, $25 and $18, and may be purchased online at or by calling the Honeywell Foundation Box Office at (260) 563-1102.
