Chamber's Coffee Connections is a success

Posted: Friday, September 6, 2019

The Huntington County Coffee Connections gathering hosted by the Huntington County Chamber of Commerce was considered a success. The first gathering was held this past Wednesday at the Habecker Dining Commons at Huntington University.

The first time gathering had 20 people in attendance, and was enjoyed by those who attended. Those present said they appreciated the Chamber hosting this event, and they had a lot of fun visiting with friends, and getting to know some people that they did not prior to this gathering.

Leanne Runyan, marketing director for Miller’s Health Systems, said, “I think the first Huntington AM was a hit! It was a great environment, and I felt all that attended left with information they did not have when they came. I am excited for this group and believe great things are to come.”

For those looking for ways to build valuable relationships in the community, you might enjoy attending the next gathering on Wednesday, October 2. If you would like to invite a friend or two, that would also be appreciated. The more the merrier!

Huntington County Coffee Connections gatherings will be held on the first Wednesday of each month from September through May. There will not be a gathering in January. The gatherings begin at 7 a.m. with Huntington University providing the venue, coffee and microphone. Each person attending is allowed to give a 30 second commercial about an activity they are involved in or about their business.

Huntington County Coffee Connections is guaranteed to be a favorite Chamber networking event. The event is the perfect way to build those valuable relationships in the community. This event is free to everyone, no reservations needed.
