Chamber to hold Customer Service Seminar

Posted: Friday, April 24, 2015

The Huntington County Chamber of Commerce will host its spring Lunch n’ Learn on Tuesday, May 12. The title of this seminar is called “How to Put the Cherry on Top,” and will focus on the importance of customer service. It will take place at the Horace Mann Educational Center, 2485 Waterworks Road, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Holly Sale, the director of rehabilitation and wellness, and expert in service excellence from Parkview Huntington Hospital, will be the presenter. She will discuss the importance of work performance and will take attendees “back to basics” with customer service. She will also detail customer service “must-haves” for your organization.

Chamber Board member and HCCSC Director of Special Programs, Trace Hinesley, said she looks forward to this seminar due to the motivation behind it.

“Serving this community begins at the heart,” Hinesley said. “It is about building healthy relationships - a wellness of service that engages active participation from all involved. I am excited to learn lessons of the journey in customer service from Parkview Huntington Hospital.”

Parkview Huntington Hospital was recently named one of the Truven Health 100 Top Hospitals for the second consecutive year. One of the analytics used in making these evaluations is patient care.

Contact the Chamber office by emailing skimmel@huntington-chamber.com or by calling the office at (260) 356-5300 by Tuesday, May 5 to RSVP. The cost of lunch is $10.
