Chamber names winners of A B.I.G. Day 2017

The Chamber of Commerce held its A B.I.G. Day golf outing on Wednesday, September 13 at the Norwood Golf Course. The acronym A B.I.G. stands for Agriculture, Business, Industry and Government. The first place winning team was Ingle Service Center shooting a 51 for the day.

Ingle’s Service Center finished the day in first place after shooting a 51. Team members included Jim Michel, Brian Dill, Lee Cutting, Garin Stephan, Tim Deal and Jason Kitt.

Dyer Health & Wellness finished second by shooting a 52. Playing for the Dyer Health & Wellness team were Derek Dyer, David Dyer, Bill Miller, Lee Schmalzried, Glen Finley and Brant Finley.

Stroup State Farm finished the day in third by also shooting a 52. The Stroup State Farm team consisted of Jake Stroup, Patrick Klein, Josh Webster, Tyler Sizelove, Andrew Stroup and Jordan Cornelious.

The Chamber would like to thank everyone who helped to make the day successful, and a good time for all in attendance. Even though the day was a bit wet, everyone seemed to enjoy their day. The Chamber would like to thank our corporate sponsor, JJ’s, Norwood Golf Course for hosting the event, beverage station sponsors, premium hole sponsors, hole sponsors, all the golfers and volunteers who took time from their busy schedules to help out the Chamber.
