Chamber encourages businesses to have a sale

Posted: Friday, August 14, 2020

Since Huntington County has lost so many events this summer do to COVID-19, the Chamber is asking each area business to consider having sales and/or special promotions at their place of business. With all of us pulling together, we can make a difference in the local business community and throughout Huntington County.

With the loss of Heritage Days, Music in the City, Celebrating Huntington 2020, Pioneer Festival events and a pared-down 4-H Fair, the Chamber of Commerce encourages each business to have a reason to draw people to their place of business.

With the State of Indiana and the Governor’s Mandate, all events must be kept at 250 or less, but that does not mean you are unable to host an event or have a special sale at your store.

Let’s keep the local economy moving forward by all local businesses including restaurants, retail, convenience stores and more to host an event or run a special sale. When your promotion is posted on your Facebook page, make sure you let the Chamber know. We will then share your event with all of our friends.

If you have questions, feel free to call the Huntington County Chamber of Commerce office at (260) 356-5300 or email Steve Kimmel at
