Café of Hope to hold fundraiser tonight

Cafe of Hope is hosting Dan’s Fish Fry tonight at its facility located at 900 E. State Street. This meal will include all you can eat fish for $9 for an adult and $6 for children. All proceeds will go toward Community and Family Services to support their Energy Assistance Program. The event will run from 4 to 7 p.m.

Saturday, October 13, Café of Hope will hold a Maker’s Faire from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Individuals will sell custom greeting cards, herb and garden kits, t-shirts, nightlights, ornaments, decals, canvases, vinyl banners, wall decals and floral wreaths. They will also offer center pieces, grave saddles, decorative chairs, mesh wreaths, recycled sweater mittens, cat mats, hot rocks, wood animals, decorative wood boxes, shelves and wine racks. Other items include handmade goat milk soap, wooden welcome signs, cups, dish towels, key chains, fair trade items like jewelry, cloth and wooden baskets, small children’s toys and woolen hats. There will be homemade bath products including lotions and candles for sale too.
