Bridges to Contemplative Living study to be held

Posted: Thursday, August 9, 2018

Many people are drawn to the works of Thomas Merton, the Cistercian monk of Gethsemane in Kentucky, who has written extensively on the spiritual life. “Bridges to Contemplative Living with Thomas Merton” is a study of prayer and especially designed for small group dialogue. This program offers space for prayer, reading, reflection and dialogue. Sue Wilhelm, director of Victory Noll Center, will facilitate the study.

Bridges to Contemplative Living Book 2 will take place on eight Friday mornings between September and December from 9 to 11 a.m. For those who have participated in previous studies, Book 7 study will be offered on eight Friday afternoons from 2 to 4 p.m.

There is a cost to participate. Participants are responsible for purchasing their own booklets which are available from Amazon or Ave Maria Press.
