Breakfast to discuss economic development

Posted: Friday, March 2, 2012

Economic development is arguably one of the top issues facing the City of Huntington. On Wednesday, March 14, join Huntington Mayor Brooks Fetters and Tom Wall, president of the Huntington County Commissioners, at the Huntington University Foundation breakfast as they discuss progress and initiatives in both the city and Huntington County.

Fetters began his term as mayor of Huntington in January. He served as a member of the Huntington University Foundation board from 2001 to 2011 and as its president for three years.

The Foundation breakfast is open to the public and begins at 7:45 a.m. in the Habecker Dining Commons and concludes by 9 a.m. The cost of the breakfast is $7. First-time attendees eat free courtesy of Bailey-Love Mortuary.

Foundation breakfast’s are held on the second Wednesday of every month during the school year.
