The Bee Hive holds open house July 26

Posted: Friday, August 1, 2014

The Bee Hive held an open house at their store on Saturday, July 26. The event took place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Several people from the community came out to the event to purchase goods, view bees at work, watch an individual weave towels and just have fun.

Cindy Sheets, owner of the store along with her daughter, opened their glass bee hive for people to see inside a hive and all in attendance enjoyed shopping in the Bee Hive store. The Bee Hive’s open house featured honey, lip balm, honey candy, olive oil, lotions, popcorn, honey soaps, noodles, bread sticks, coffee beans and brewed coffee to sample, teas, dips, pies and beef for sale.

The Bee Hive is located at 5386W 200S just off of State Road 9 heading toward Marion. For more information call The Bee Hive at (260) 468-2657.
