Automotive class at Learning Center in August

A new Basic Automotive Service class will be offered at the Huntington County Community Learning Center beginning in August. The new class will be offered by Ivy Tech instructors on Monday evenings from 6 to 9:50 p.m.

This new 16-week course begins on August 26 for anyone who currently works in the automotive industry, or just wants to learn more about automotive repair. This course gives students an overview of the operating and general maintenance of systems in the modern automobile. Students will be introduced to the safety and operation of equipment and tools used in the automotive industry. Students will study the maintenance and light repair of automotive systems. There are no pre-requisites for this class and anyone can enroll.
