Arts Council chosen Business of the Month

Posted: Friday, May 31, 2019

The Ambassadors of the Huntington County Chamber of Commerce selected the LaFontaine Arts Council as Business of the Month for June.

They were selected for the many things they do for the arts in our community. For several years the LaFontaine Arts Council has planned and managed JeFFFest during Heritage Days in downtown Huntington. The Chamber congratulates Debbie Dyer and the LaFontaine Arts Council on being named Business of the Month.

According to their Facebook page, the LaFontaine Arts Council focuses on providing culturally diverse educational in-school programming yearly to all Huntington County students. The arts are critical to human development and provide the links that bring people together. Creative thinkers become creative learners. Learners then become the adults that work together to make a community strong and successful!
