Apartments for rent, open house November 21

Posted: Friday, November 15, 2013

A new building is completed at Carriage Place Apartments, replacing a burned structure where 12 families lost their homes, the result of a fire last January 7. No one was injured in the incident, the cause of the fire remains unknown, and the majority of the families affected were relocated to other available apartment homes.

The new building features 12 new apartment homes with upgraded amenities. Each two bedroom apartment features walnut faced cabinetry with brushed nickel hardware and fixtures. There are six-panel doors, ceramic tiles in the entryway and kitchens and upgraded carpet throughout. Other features include programmable thermostats, large storage closets and tilt windows for easy cleaning.

The apartments are also equipped with washer and dryer connections. Residents have the option to lease a new washer and dryer with the home. The new building was also constructed with energy efficient lighting, heating and air conditioning systems.

Carriage Place will host an open house on Thursday, November 21 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. A ribbon cutting at 3:30 p.m. will begin the afternoon celebration at the new building and tours will follow. Cake and punch will be served and there will be free giveaways. Homes will be available to lease that evening also. The apartments are located at 600 Bartlett Street.
