Antiqology announced grand re-opening

Posted: Friday, July 5, 2013

Antiqology, a new shopping destination in Huntington, is excited to announce its grand re-opening event on Saturday July 13. Antiqology is a store that provides unique, antique, vintage, handmade and repurposed items - both old and new, along with award winning hard-scooped ice cream and over 65 varieties of old-fashioned bottled sodas.

On Saturday, July 13, Antiqology will be holding a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4 p.m., followed by a grand opening party at 401 N. Jefferson Street in downtown Huntington. Free root beer floats to the first 100 people through the door, refreshments and old-fashioned soda, and hard-scooped ice cream will be available. The community is encouraged to attend and check out the newly renovated historic building in the heart of downtown Huntington.

“Antiqology is not your average antique store. We have that hip and trendy “big city” style that many generations can appreciate, but located in the heart of Huntington. We have a lot of local pieces, with local stories. We want to keep these local stories alive, while bringing people to downtown Huntington. Our store is a place that you can come and hang out, share your story and shop in a unique and trendy atmosphere. We’ve recently added a great line of over 65 vintage-style bottled sodas and our amazing old-fashioned hard-scooped ice cream. It’s really worth the drive to Huntington to check it out!” says owner, Adam Hanson.

Antiqology will also be announcing the winner of the free ice cream for a year sweepstakes at this event. There is still time to enter daily at Come see what all the talk is all about.
