Andrews-Dallas Twp. Library announces events

Posted: Friday, January 30, 2015

The Andrews-Dallas Township Public Library is hosting a series of family game nights in February. Turn off the TV, unplug your devices and visit the library for an evening of classic and modern board games. Family Night-Unplugged will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, February 3, 10 and 24. Games and snacks will be provided by the library.

The Andrews-Dallas Township Public Library Book Club meets on Saturday, February 7 at 10 a.m. This month, participants are discussing books that inspired the Masterpiece phenomenon “Downtown Abbey.” Readers can choose to read Below Stairs by Margaret Powell or To Marry an English Lord by Gail MacColl and Carol Wallace. Copies can be borrowed from the library.

If you’re in love with a knotty habit, join the Andrews-Dallas Township Public Library’s yarn club. The Knotty Habit ladies will meet on Saturday, February 14 at 10 a.m. Bring along any knit or crochet projects and enjoy some fellowship while creating. The group is also making winter weather gear to donate to the community.
