Andrews-Dallas Library sets March activities

The Andrews-Dallas Township Public Library has an array of activities planned for adults and children for March. The library is located at 30 E. Madison Street in Andrews.

Tomorrow, March 7, at 10 a.m. the Book Club will discuss Sovay by Celia Rees. The public is invited to join the Book Club and refreshments are provided.

Saturday, March 14, the library will hold a Book and Bake Sale from 9 a.m. to Noon. The activity is sponsored by the Friends of the Andrews-Dallas Township Public Library. A Knotty Habit will also meet this day at 10 a.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring along a current yarn project and enjoy fellowship while working. The group will also be knitting and crocheting cold weather gear as donations for the community throughout the winter.

The public is invited to Family Nights at the library. Family Night UNPLUGGED will be held Tuesday, March 17 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Board games, prizes and snacks will be a part of the evenings.

Story Time is held every other Wednesday at the Andrews-Dallas Public Library at 10:15 a.m. The next Story Time will take place on Wednesday, March 18 for two and three years olds with other ages welcome. Stories, songs and crafts are part of Story Time. Parent and Toddler Time Out will be held on Thursday, March 19, at 5 p.m. Grown-ups create take home games while their toddlers plan and enjoy a snack.

Sloppy Joes, baked apples and beverages will be served at Family Feast on Tuesday, March 24 at 5:30 p.m. Families can enjoy dinner at the library. N.A.G. New Attitude Group will meet on Thursday, March 26 at 5:30 p.m. The group provides encouragement and accountability for individuals and organizations.

Club Create will meet on Saturday, March 28, for cooking and crafts. The club is for six to 16 year olds and will make a T-bone dog chew toy and dog treats from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Every Child Ready to Read @ your library meets Tuesday, March 31 at 6 p.m. Preschoolers are prepared for reading with tips for success at this workshop. Children are welcome and childcare and snacks are provided. A free book is given to every family that attends.
