Amor Excavating working on Fitness Park

Posted: Friday, March 31, 2017

Amor Excavating has begun construction on the new Fitness Park at Lake Clare. The park will be finished through the efforts of a group of local volunteer residents. Volunteers are welcome during the installation phase.

Stan Bippus, who is coordinating the project, says the oval-shaped fitness course is being built in an open area between the Lake Clare Pavilion and Business-24 East. Sponsorships have already been secured for the 20 individual pieces of equipment that will make up the obstacle course, according to Bippus, but other individuals/businesses will have an opportunity to become involved later.

Shown in the photo is Tyler Cotton of Amor Excavating as he drives a skid loader on Thursday, March 23, to create a track at an obstacle course under construction at Lake Clare. According to a news release, seven loads of sand, donated by IMI and E&B Paving, were spread on the site.
