ABWA offering three scholarships

The Forks of the Wabash Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) is offering three scholarships worth $2,000 each. The scholarships are funded through the Stephen Bufton Memorial Educational Fund to three deserving area female students.

Each year, local chapters of ABWA provide Stephen Bufton Memorial Scholarships (SBMEF) to female students who will be attending accredited U.S. colleges, universities and community/vocational schools. Applicants must be citizens of the United States; residents of Huntington County; entering high school, graduating seniors, college freshman, sophomore, etc. in August 2015 and attending any institution, with a GPA of 3.0-4.0 or higher. Eligible women interested in applying for the scholarship should contact Angela Rittenhouse: Scholarship/Professional Development chair, Forks of the Wabash Chapter. Applications must be completed by March 31, 2015 at www.sbmef.org. A minimum of three eligible completed applications are required in order for the scholarship to be awarded. The scholarship recipients will be notified in May of 2015.
