ABWA - Forks of the Wabash celebrates 32 years

Posted: Friday, November 6, 2015

The American Business Women’s Association – Forks of the Wabash Chapter celebrated its 32nd year on November 2. In October, three members traveled to Albuquerque, New Mexico to attend the annual National Women’s Leadership Conference.

During the conference, members had the opportunity to expand their knowledge by attending educational seminars, graduating from courses taken with Park University and Kansas University, networking and accepting Best Practice awards acknowledging the leagues that perform at the highest level. This was Forks of the Wabash’s eighth year in a row of achieving a Best Practice award.

The mission of the American Business Women’s Association is to bring together businesswomen of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking support and national recognition.

ABWA – Forks of the Wabash Chapter will hold their annual Brat Tent fundraiser on June 17 and 18, 2016. Funds raised are used to educate the members and the Huntington community with scholarships. For more information about the Brat Tent, please contact Kerrie Fine at (260) 388-4472 or
