4th annual Walk for Hope to prevent teen suicide

The Youth Services Bureau and the Teen Suicide Prevention Task Force will be hosting the Fourth Annual Walk for Hope, suicide awareness walk on Saturday, September 20. The event will begin and end at Huntington North High School. Registration begins at 6:30 p.m. while the event will begin at 7 p.m. The walk route is approximately two miles in length.

The primary goal of the event is to raise awareness and prevention of suicide. Walkers are encouraged to make donations or have friends and family sponsor them as they walk. All proceeds from the event will go directly to suicide prevention efforts in Huntington County. Any walker who raises donations in the amount of $50 or more will receive a free Walk for Hope t-shirt. Walkers may also purchase t-shirts for $15.
