Posted: Friday, December 22, 2017

1st Source Bank recently donated $5,000 to Pathfinder Services, Inc. This contribution supports the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offered by Pathfinder Services, Inc. The VITA program provides free tax help for low income adults and families, persons with disabilities, and limited English speaking taxpayers who need assistance.

John Niederman, president of Pathfinder Services, Inc., stated, “We deeply appreciate the generosity of 1st Source Bank. Their ongoing support makes a big difference for families in this community who need a hand up. Our VITA program hopes to prepare taxes for 1,300 families in Huntington and Wabash counties this year. Thank you, 1st Source Bank, for your partnership.”

1st Source Bank assistant vice president, Lyle Juillerat, commented, “1st Source Bank recognizes the positive impact that the VITA program has on the lives of residents in the community. The bank’s mission is to help the residents of our community achieve security, build wealth and realize their dreams. This is one of the ways we achieve that.”
